An introduction to human-centric healthcare approach of TNO Holst Centre
We are seeing a decisive shift in the way healthcare is delivered, from the “treating the patients” approach to the “ensuring the well-being of humans” approach. This change will be further accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, which has raised numerous questions about the relevance of traditional healthcare models. Taking this dramatic shift into account, TNO Holst Centre’s innovations in technology and application development target the three pillars of “human-centric” healthcare:
1. Prevention
2. Diagnosis
3. Therapy
In this talk, a summary of our innovations to address the emerging healthcare needs will be presented, along with selected examples of relevant products we have helped to develop. Furthermore, a sneak peek into the subsequent presentations of this webinar series will be given.
